I remember a movie called Idiocracy, or something like that, that was actually a good kind of provocation. The Idea is quite clear and understandable, however trying so hard to be grotesque and actually succeeding at it, means that in the end you are contributing to what you are fighting against. Sometimes when you try to send a message all you do is put pressure on yourself, and put some more, and more, until you fart, and you end up a little bit empty and dead inside. And just as the artist was able to sell his sh*t, just because it’s HIS famous as* sh*t, the same way the actors managed to sell us their sh*tty movie(no pun intended). My point is that this movie has such a high rating not because of quality or meaningfulness, but because of the great artists(that BTW don’t do anything worthy of their performance) that participate. I remember some time ago, I read about a famous french or Italian artist that sold his sh*t.
